I didn’t realize just how accurate someone was being when they warned me that net in Texas, among a few other states, was very unstable. Even with a direct connection I can’t seem to keep it consistently stable. I wonder if the whole state has some sort of limit to the level of activity, since it is noticeably worse on Fridays and certain evenings rather regularly.
Aside from that, I have to say I don’t think I will do a serial flash fiction in the future. 500 or so words just isn’t enough to create a full story arc along with touching on the previous ones and keeping it all consistently understandable. More and more it is feeling like chapters of a book and less like stand-alone stories.
Even if they are indeed stand alone stories, I debate how good they are. I am putting forward my best effort and I am certainly pushing the limits of what I am able to write, but I suspect the finished e-book version will be far more enjoyable than the individual stories are alone. Time will tell.
I have been receiving some irregular comments. Thank you to those who have done so. I love getting feedback and knowing that people are actively following what I am writing. I will continue to write regardless, but input is always helpful. So far, it has even managed to all be positive. Bonus.
I hope that in the months to follow, you continue to enjoy what I am writing and in the years to come, that you are able to see the growth of my writing even as it is happening. Thank you for reading and again, thank you to all of those who have offered comments.
