Fiction Friday – Writing Prompt 6

No word limit this time, but you must create a story where the protagonist is afflicted with methemoglobinemia. This is a disease which causes the person’s skin to become blue so that they appear to be painted. In itself, this shouldn’t be too difficult. What makes this prompt a challenge is that you must find a way to make the character’s methemoglobinemia integral to the plot and it’s existence somehow tie into the resolution of the story in a positive manner. This is the only focus here. No other special requirements. Good luck and good writing!
