After a fair bit of time to consider the feedback I have received on Nighteyes, I am considering doing a follow-up novelette. If you’ve read the original or purchased the extended story, you are probably aware that the overarching story ends with the rescue of the missing field scientist. The arc of the story I had been telling was done, but many people have shown an interest in seeing more of what happened with the other characters afterward. I don’t know if I will indeed do a follow-up or not yet, but if I do, it will likely be a free work associated with the paid extended version.
I am curious if people are indeed interested in this or if the comments were more of an idle observation. Obviously I don’t want to expend a lot of effort if there isn’t actually an interest. Let me know if this interests you!
