While I work out a bit more about the direction of the serial flash fiction series I have been doing lately, I am going to take a break from it and offer up a writing prompt for today’s Fiction Friday. For those of you anticipating the rest of the series, I don’t intend to delay more than this week before the next entry in the series. I may decide to write a flash fiction in the future from this prompt to appear on a later Fiction Friday entry once the serial entries are done.
The rules of this prompt are as follows; Using the starting sentence, write a story no more than 600 words long. It should end in a meaningful and logical way without being overtly predictable.
The Prompt Sentence: Trussed up and waiting to be eaten wasn’t exactly how she had expected her life to end.
