I’ve been having some minor feedback come through today and worked on correcting the issues. The two main points related first to the home button and second to the registration requirement to make comments.
I have not yet worked out a solution to make the home icon in the upper left-hand side of the screen more visible yet, but figured I would at least let you know it is there so those of you reading don’t have to use the ‘back’ button on your computer just to go to the main page again. If you are still having trouble finding it, you may be looking too high. Just under the blog title should be a banner listing out such information as “About” and “Legal”, etc. It is to the far left of all those.
As for the issue of registration, it seems tied to a problem with the level of hosting I have. The plug-in tied to it is not functional at the current level of server I use. When I have enough traffic to warrant an upgrade, I will do so and hopefully user registration will be up and running. Until then I have simply set the system to allow anyone to post a comment. Of course, I will have it set up so that no comment is visible until I have had the chance to look it over to avoid spam or malicious links.
Testing the comments.
